Location

From east to west, it runs between the Lisbon Cathedral and the São Jorge Castle to the Cais do Sodré, Chiado and Bairro Carmo.

Downtown Pombaline

Rua Augusta

Rua Augusta is one of the most important streets in this area; it connects Praça do Comércio with Rossio, where the Statue of D. Pedro IV (D. Pedro I in Brazil).
