1. Minho, the Land of Vinho Verde

Between the Minho and Douro rivers, the Vinhos Verdes (DOC) vineyards extend over 34,000 ha, in the northwest region of Portugal (the Minho). In your Traditionally, many vines are supported by trees, such as oaks and plane trees, among others. For decades, the green wine was the most representative wine of all wines in Portugal.





2. Minho's Kitchen

Minho, terroir of the Vinhos Verdes, prides itself on its traditional cuisine from the North . Cod here, like everywhere else, is always one of the favorite products and dishes. But the papas de sarrabulho, the rojões and the green wines are among the most authentic products of this land.

Viana do Castelo

The District of Viana do Castelo, with ten municipalities, corresponds to the territory of the Alto Minho. The capital of the District of Viana do Castelo, as well as the municipality of the same name, is the city of Viana do Castelo.

Braga

As for Braga, in Baixo Minho, it is the capital of the district and the municipality de Braga, besides being the capital of the entire Minho region.
