Casino and Beaches

The Figueira da Foz Casino, opened in 1884, is considered the oldest casino in the Iberian Peninsula.

Figueira da Foz Beaches

The city of Figueira da Foz (in the homonymous municipality), is the second most important urban agglomeration in the district (state) of Coimbra, to which it belongs. Located at the mouth of the River Mondego and on the edge of the Atlantic, Figueira da Foz attracts many visitors to its beaches, especially during the summer, from July to September.

• Cabedelo Beach: the best for water sports (surfing, bodyboarding, kitesurfing...)

• Clock Beach: famous for its long sandy beach

Figueira da Foz do Mondego
