Bucelas Wines

White wines producer of great prestige, "the prince of the white wines of Portugal", "the wine of Shakespeare", Bucelas DOC is situated to the south of the Region of Lisbon. This was the second wine area to be demarcated after the Douro. The white wines of Bucelas are able to preserve their qualities for several years, being for this reason taken in the trips in the time of the Discoveries.

These wines, of "strong aromatic exuberance, round and smooth wines" [1], conquer the paladares of gastronomomos of the most diverse nooks and crannies.

Main Breed

For the production of the Bucelas Wine the variety used is Arinto.
