Arruda Wines
The vineyards of Arruda DOC are situated in the center of the Lisbon Region, in the county of Arruda dos Vinhos. The vineyards occupy
an area of 2,120 ha on the slopes of the municipality that has wine up to its name. In addition to the Arruda DOC wines, regional
wines are also produced.

The denomination of the vineyards of Arruda DOC demarcated for the production of regional wine took place at the beginning of XXth century.
Main Breeds
For the production of Arruda DOC the following vine varieties are used: Aragonez, Castelão and Alicante Bouschet, among others.

The highlight for the Quintas, in Arruda dos Vinhos, goes to Quinta de São Sebastião, whose production leaves delicious Quinta de
São Sebastião wines under four brands: Grande Escolha, Reserva, Vinho Branco and Mina Velha. They are wines from Arruda DOC
that use the Touriga Nacional variety.
