was created with the regrouping of lands from the parishes of
Nossa
Our Lady of Fátima and São Sebastião da Pedreira; is located north of the central and historic area of
Lisbon, the
Historic Center. Next to the beautiful
Eduardo VII Park,
Avenidas Novas is a privileged place to live just a few steps from
Rossio
and
Praça do Comércio.

Avenidas Novas
Curious about the origin of the name? "The origin of the name Avenidas Novas appears, at the end of the 19th century, with
the restructuring of the territory carried out by Ressano Garcia, in which the wide streets and the
facades with landscaped patios, characteristic of Art Nouveau and Art Déco.
This urban renewal
was inspired by the Paris Extension Plan, carried out by Georges-Eugène Haussmann, which
Ressano Garcia attended while a student in the French capital" [JF de Avenidas Novas].

Largo de São Sebastião da Pedreira

Vala do Rego.
