Parish of Alvalade was created with the regrouping of the parishes of São João de Brito, Campo Grande and Alvalade; is located north of the Historic Center of Lisbon.

The highlight for the parish of Alvalade is the Garden (Park) from Campo Grande and the facilities of the University of Lisbon. Alvalade is considered one of the best neighborhoods in Lisbon.

About Alvalade

Planned, residential and quiet neighborhood, with facilities (the Alvalade Market), Alvalade metro station and services (good restaurants). Another interesting fact is that it is close to the Historic Center of the capital. Grand avenues pass by Alvalade, such as Avenida do Brasil (crosses Alvalade), Avenida de Roma, Avenida Alm. Gago Coutinho (north-south) and Evil Avenue. Gomes da Costa (east-west).
