gastronomy, however, some emblematic products complete the diversity and variety of this tasty cuisine.

Fishes
Cod, sea bass, grouper, monkfish, sardines and crustaceans. According to many experts, fish caught off the coast of Portugal are among the
best in the world.
Other products
Several other traditional products complete the list of Portuguese gastronomy ingredients: nuts, sausages, olive oil, wines, cheeses, local
fruits and aromatic herbs, as well as many items that go into elaborating the delights of Portuguese cuisine and gastronomy.
From the northwestern lands, between the Minho and the Douro, to the undulating lands of the Alentejo and sunny Algarve, a gastronomy that
must be tried and appreciated by all who pass by here.
Cataplana
Portuguese kitchen utensil, with round with two concave parts that close, typical of the Algarve, the cataplana is used to cook food,
especially fish and seafood. By extension, cataplana is also called the typical dishes cooked on it, such as the Cataplana Algarvia
(fish soup, clams, prawns, ...) and the seafood cataplana.
