Estoril, Cascais, Portugal

Estoril is a parish (administrative region) in the municipality of Cascais, in Lisbon District, (Extremadura).

Located west of Greater Lisbon, Estoril (23,769 inhab., INE 2001), the star of the Atlantic coast, as Estoril is also known, is one of the favorite destinations for day trips and weekends visitors and from Lisbon.

Growth of the resident population

With 8 km², the parish of Estoril and Cascais has 64,201 inhabitants (INE, 2021). In 2011, the population was 61,808 inhabitants (INE, 2011). There was a 3.9% growth in the resident population in this period.


Estoril tourist attractions

The beaches are, without a shadow of a doubt, the main attractions of estoril; there are five good beaches that are very popular, including the fact that they are close to Lisbon.
