Albufeiras: Beaches, Sun and Night

Summer capital in Portugal, Albufeira enchants visitors with its white houses, its narrow streets and its restaurants, bars and cafes always full of happy people and beautiful. Its stores and souvenirs delight tourists from all over the world. Day and night the animation does not stop.

"But it was the beaches that gave Albufeira international renown. And they are all different, each with its own charm. The variety is great and begins to west on Praia dos Salgados with its white sand dunes. sands succeed each other framed by rocks sculpted by erosion such as Galé, Castelo, São Rafael or Arrifes.

The city also has beaches – Fishermen, Túnel, Alemães and Inatel - accessible from a short walk. And the offer continues eastwards, rivaling in beauty and animation in the Praias da Oura, Santa Eulália, Maria Luísa and Olhos de Água which has springs of fresh water in the middle of the beach. The boundary of the county is marked by the long sandy beach of Praia da Falésia - kilometers of beach bordered by the cliff that gave it its name, which slopes in golden, coppery and reddish hues. An image that gains more intensity in the late afternoon light and that remains in our memory" [Visit Portugal].
